You will clean the hanging water bag and hoses after each procedure using a simple vinegar and water solution. This method will kill most bacteria. However, if you prefer, you may simply use soap and water.
Our basic Kit comes with 6 Speculums because the Rectal Speculums should not be reused. In doing the 6 procedures you will have a reusable hanging water bag #1 and if you should locate a 1 gallon milk jug #6 that would be cleaned and reused for collecting the waste water and stool.
Please notice the inflatable cuff speculum #3 which is unique only to our company. This inflatable balloon fills your rectal vault that transfers pulsing to the walls of your rectal area and vault. This causes more autonomic peristaltic activity (contractions) of your weak bowel wall muscles to strengthen them.
The blood pressure cuff squeeze bulb #2 pulsates the water inside of you. Repetitively squeezing this bulb for about 15 minutes during a 25 minute procedure creates the therapy procedure for your bowel retraining.
We recommend that you source 3 items to use with your Kit... a small tube of (KY) type of lubricant jelly... an empty 1 gallon milk jug #6 that can be reused for your 6 Pulsing Water Therapy procedures and finally a disposable small bed pad to protect your sheets and mattress. These small bed pads are usually available from most drugstores.
After each procedure, you or an assistant will open a special twist valve #5 that allows the emptying of the water and stool to pass through the pulsing valve #4 and down the waste hose to the milk jug #6.
We recommend that you do the procedure every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for about 25 minutes per day until your chronic bowel problems disappear because of the bowel retraining you are accomplishing.
For laxative addicted individuals we have heard that their problem was solved in only 3 weeks with the 3 procedures per week. They provided the pulsation of the #2 for at least 15 minutes out of the total time of 25 minutes per day.
